As a Friends of Aussie Girl Go, we would like to introduce you to Tracy Edwards with Nurse Practitioner Clinical Solutions. 

Tracy Edwards has dedicated her life to the medical field for over 30 years, starting her career as a nurse’s assistant, then becoming a Registered Nurse (RN). She holds varies credentials and certifications including her Cardiology Nursing Certification.

Tracy continued working in the medical field in various roles including Hospital Management and was in charge of a large hospital Cardiology Unit. Tracy has enjoyed her vast medical career but her passion has always been in clinical nursing. She holds a Master’s Degree in Nursing Science and was endorsed as a Nurse Practitioner 2010. She currently works as a Nurse Practitioner, in the Emergency Room at Modbury Hospital in Adelaide, Australia.

Tracy is an author, her book “The Art of Triage”, published by Nova Science Publishers, is a thought provoking read and looks at the history of triage from the first rudimentary form of triage by Baron Dominique Jean Larrey stepping through the world wars, and looking at triage systems in use today. She has traveled the world speaking at medical conferences sharing her extensive knowledge and expertise and was invited to speak in Montreal, Dubai, Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne.

In 2012, Tracy was diagnosed with Scleroderma, but she continues her work today as an NP in the ER.  She enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters.
